THE CHALLENGE

A remote spot, never chosen before for a ceremony: the only way to reach the lake is on foot, across a bridge. To make the most of the morning light, the working day began at dawn. An elopement — the couple accompanied only by their two witnesses — in a setting no one had ever dared to use before.

THE METHOD

Foot-only access meant sourcing dedicated transport carts for the setup, identified after demanding on-site inspections. On the day, part of the vendor team — 15 people working in total — stayed on-site for the entire ceremony, ready to step in at any moment.

The menu and music were chosen based on environmental conditions and logistics: the shape of the valley imposed strict limits on return times.

Exclusive use of the site required going through a formal process with the local municipality. To keep timelines manageable, we proposed — and were granted — a weekday date, when visitor numbers in the area are close to zero. Given the nature of the location, we also arranged dedicated insurance advice, to protect both people and the environment.

THE RESULT

In the first light of dawn, in a place no one had ever chosen to say "I do," two people and their two witnesses had the entire valley to themselves. What made it possible were months of invisible work — the kind you never see on the wedding day, but without which it wouldn't happen.
